EasyPark Group strengthens collaboration with leading European energy company
EasyPark Group and Vattenfall, one of Europe’s leading energy companies, are strengthening their collaboration. The EasyPark app will now offer the convenience of parking and charging electric vehicles at all chargers within Vattenfall’s public charging network in Sweden, InCharge.
Vattenfall’s public charging network, InCharge, has a total of 4 000 chargers spread across more than 760 locations in Sweden. By making EasyPark’s services available at all charging stations in Sweden’s largest charging network, EasyPark and Vattenfall are making travel easier for drivers, by offering both charging and parking around the country. This expansion is an important milestone for EasyPark and the EVC business which is growing rapidly in its current existing markets Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark and Slovakia.
“The need for charging stations is growing rapidly. At EasyPark Group, we have ambitious goals to make everyday life easier for our users and thereby increase the availability of electric vehicle charging locations and remove frictions for using them. Together with Vattenfall, we are pleased to be able to jointly make this happen and continue to make cities more livable”, says Cameron Clayton, CEO at EasyPark Group.
“After two years of cooperation with EasyPark Group, we are thrilled to take it a step further. Combining our charging infrastructure with the EasyPark app and user base contributes to even smoother charging. We look forward to continuing the collaboration and to develope the infrastructure, in order to make charging even more accessible”, says Björn Öster, responsible for public charging at Vattenfall InCharge.
